I think we should keep the two party system but gut their power base by
removing the pre-election choosing. If the dude (or dudet) wants to run let them run with out the party primaries. Let all the voters decide from amoung the possible choices. Would split their money base and give us better options, cause they are not all in the pockets of the big promoters. (Just the ones that we end up having to vote for). Be honest... When was the last time the choice was better than the lesser of two evils. |

That might work. But we'd never get enough votes to one candidate.
What might work is a post-proper election. An initial election amongst the candidates. And the two or three top runners would then have the second election to determine the winner. And, if I was old enough at the time, I woulda voted for Perot. He probably coulda done a very good job. |

i feel we should have the multi canadate system
to when you must obtain 51% of popular vote if no one obtains 51% the a run-off election for the top two canadates |

I did vote for Perot.
He was the only one that made sense. |

well ishot himself in the foot by withdrawing and reentering the race
but that would have been the perfect race for run off election theory i don't think any of them would have got 51% if you knew you would not be wasting your vote if voting for non top 3 parties in election and top two run off would of been needed |

Someone threatened him with "compromising" pictures of his daughter. He
backed off. Then his daughter insisted he keep at it, so he returned to the running. |

still it worked
he quit lost support most of it did not come back cause they thought would be wasting vote so it worked |

Oh. I KNOW it worked. That's not even remotely in question. But it was
a really dirty trick. |
