Feeling a little beaten down with whats all going on. Worries about my mom. Worries about the rumors of layoffs again at work. Being 28 years old and not starting a family of my own by now. The weather could be sunny and warm that would help. Being a key in life and not finding my lock to spend life with. I'll quote myself

The Sea of Life
This body is just that to which I travel this sea of life Flesh and bone make up my hale Both will come too its demise, over time from my voyage Nothing meant to last forever No matter what the mighty sea may conger up Being of angry storms or glassy waters I’ll still sailing this mighty sea of life My soul, mind, and what lies in my heart be the crew With the wind in my sails the sun to my back I hope these favorable conditions will last But I sail in to uncharted waters With dark clouds on the horizon I’m one to keep my course With wonders placed upon this earth for me to see, live and feel I hope my journey isn’t taken away from me After living this life sailing this sea of life May my sprite live on, my journeys not forgotten For it will not last forever JMBC |

I have walked a long ways, in the midst of darkness No stars or moon light, the nights cold and heartless Seems like Im the only person thats breathing this air Which constricts my lungs as it frosts my hair Dead silence, and a shadowy path to follow Im lost, yet calm and unafraid, although; Im all alone in this place that has no others I can smile truthfully with no fear uncovered Happiness made promises to brighten my day like the sun So I sit here every morning until the evening comes Still waiting for that smile, wasting time Walking threw the night, alone, cold and unrefined My expression tells a million stories of self defeat Since trying hard to forget that hard ache & loss repeats I once got near a smile, when I did I held it close But he slipped away as did my smile and hopes Now Im afraid to get close Or let anyone get close to me Heart breaks & shattered souls Become so familiar with me So I wore a smile and let out a laugh Hiding the pain that aligned my path To keep you from knowing the facts I made you smile as I wore a mask |
