Why are you all so defensive if someone doesn't approve of it? Were not defensive, were trying to teach you the truth. You have been lied to for years I'll tell you the truth about something else thats for your own good too. Prescription drugs don't cure anything. They only mask the symptoms. Then you need another drug to mask the symptoms of the last drug, and it goes on and on. It's an outrage, and it's a very widespread problem. They want everyone on as many prescription drugs as possible. They have drugs for everything, and even allow commercials for prescription drugs on TV now. It's all about money, not whats good for you. Natural remedies all the way ! Ms. Kim, I don't understand what you're saying about the receptors and I know a lot about them. |

Why are you all so defensive if someone doesn't approve of it? Were not defensive, were trying to teach you the truth. You have been lied to for years Said the closed-minded anti-drug prohibitionist. I'm anti-drugs. I'm not closed minded. Been there, done that, grew up. Worked in a drug rehab. Have a person close to me in recovery. Went with them to NA and AA mtgs. I know a lot about it hence...I'm anti-drugs. So am I, I hate all drugs. I do not consider marijuana a drug. It's an herb, and it doesnt make people do anything weird except eat too much. It has alot of benefits for people in todays hetic society. We need more mellow people and less lunatics I consider pot a drug. I've even seen people in rehab for pot. Rehab, for smokin weed ! Probably just a court ordered thing. Thats dont mean anything. |

Some people do get psychologically addicted to pot, but I don't think physical dependencies ever arise, at least not in any study I've come across.

What Izzie has said about the guy only being stoned can happen. It happened to me back in high school, I was 17, he was 36. He was a friend of the guy throwing the party and was boasting about how he never drinks. So I hung out around him feeling like I was safe........until he came back in the house afer smoking a joint in the backyard, took me into the backroom and tried to rape me.
And if it makes you all so calm, maybe you should fire one up now and calm down, because the OP asked a yes or no question....not just "Who agrees with him" |

Some people do get psychologically addicted to pot, but I don't think physical dependencies ever arise, at least not in any study I've come across. I know people that have done it for years. If a person gets high in stressful situations for many years, that person doesn't know who to deal with stress without it. They do not have the coping skills. They didn't mature emotionally. If someone gets high all the time from 10 yrs. old to 20 yrs. old, when they quit they have the maturity level of the 10 yr. old. You will hear them talk about this in the NA meetings. I also taught about it in the rehab. |

He was a 36 year old hanging out at a party with you (I'm guessing it was a high school party) and after he smoked he tried to get all handsy or what have you. Is it the individual or the substance? In your opinion. |

Smoking pot is not going to cause anyone to become a rapist...(has someone been watching reefer madness again???) Why is it so hard for anyone to consider that the guys who do rape are just not right to begin with?
I worked as a paramedic for 10 years and not once did I go on an accident that involved only pot. Alcohol...that is more of a drug than marijuana. |

Ah, the old "but it isn't a drug!" argument.

I'm so sorry that it happened to you. |
