Yeah, for a few months. Turns out he was schtupping my friend who lived upstairs the whole time. Such crocodile tears those were.

But if I'd not been married I'd have just broken it off.

Nice to see someone with a sense of humour, usually I get a post saying what an a-hole or how sorry they are for me. People need to lighten up a little.

No. I believe in honesty, and to stay when there's no love there is living a lie. Anytime a relationship ends, it hurts. It would hurt me more to know someone stayed with me although he no longer loved me, because then I'd question everything; what part of it was real and what wasn't? And could I ever trust again if I knew we'd been living a lie? I'd rather know as soon as he knew when the relationship truly died.

No. It would hurt them more if one prolongs the relationship under false pretenses.

Some relationships fall out but if you are honest and respectful toward the person and tell them the truth at least you allow them to have their dignity. That helps everyone move on and be healthy.
