for being here on this site?
I, personally, am here and stay here because of true friends. Many of my friendships aren't seen on the threads. They are people whom have taken the time and effort to email and get to know who I am and I them. The other reason that I am on the site, is that I reach out a hand occassionally to those that appear to be struggling with something and I offer a listening ear. What keeps me here is that evenutally they use it! Sometimes I am asked for advice about serious topics. This is why I am here. It is noteworthy that this is not why I orginally signed up for this site. It was in hopes of finding and getting to know people locally and go on a few dates and hopefully find someone that I wouldn't mind spending some time with! In conclusion, I want to say thank you to my friends! And those that have come to me and have let me help them with a situation.

Initially I thought I might find someone in the process of figuring out that it was a waste of time I have made a bunch of friends, so I just come on here now for the forums & have fun with friends

I have to say, you said that beautifully -- I came here in the hopes of meeting someone also and found I made some really nice friends here.

I came in for the obvious reasons of a dating site. As time passed I have found friends....friends who care. Sincerely care. And now, I have those friends to talk with have fun with, and sometimes be serious with. And in the process of just finding friends, I have found a special person who fills my life with joy and happiness all the time!!! I love her dearly!
