What's wrong with my profile? I have been on here for awhile now, and have not had any luck. Is it my looks, or is it my profile its self?

Unfortunately, it just takes time. I've been here almost 2 years and only met a couple people. So either I'm a complete loser or I just haven't met the right one yet.

I don't think your looks are a big issue. Maybe your height and that you are a smoker.

Your photos are not bad but they aren't really engageing. Very stiff, no smile, lot of glare. You make yourself appear heavier cutting off your shots at chest line. None of your pictures show and interest that you could share with a woman. How many times do men have to be told no shirt no response. Even if you are not that up tight about a guy nude it just seems lame on a profile. Unless you are trying to appeal to both sexes.

You spelling needs multiple corrections. That is fine typing fast in forums or even longer e-mails but on profiles and maybe initial e-mails you want to make the special effort to spell check.

I don't know what vibe most women would get from your romantic scenario but it would make me want to back off from a guy who lives in a remote area and is very solitary as a potential person to date. That you repeat your interests makes your text seem subtley boreing. Your basic stats state you are divorced no need to repeat a negative.

This isn't a really bad profile it just doesn't connect. Sad because asking at least shows that you are hoping to learn how you present and that is a good thing. Good luck. Don't give up. Post in the forums. Lot of people do read them and it defintely ups the number of people who see you.

Spelling is really bad and it sounds desperate. You've gotten some great feedback here. Just remember, your profile is your chance to showcase you, who you are. Not what you don't have or want.
