I have one for my laptop through my cell company and it sucks!

I heard that the ones that plug into the USB ports work the best and are as fast as high speed.

No clue about dell cards. When you are traveling why not just ask others what works for them?

If you see someone using their laptop at a resturaunt or at a rest stop...ask them!

Airlink are decent. Edimax are the most powerful on the market.
Encore are inexpensive but ate half way decent. The rest are average unless you spend a butt load of cash. The most you should have to spend is 40 bucks.
