I quit smoking cigarettes 6 years ago as of this day.
My grand daughter was born on Jan 3rd yeppiers yesterday was her 6th Birthday. She was born a preemie and had to stay under oxygen for 4-5 days and was coming home to live with me at the time. Her little lungs could not take the smoke at the time I was a very heavy smoker 3 packs a day. I had to make a choice either quit smoking or at least in the house I knew if I continued to smoke I would once again smoke in the house. Soooooooo there was only one option for me and for Kaitlynn and that was for me to quit smoking all together. I laid them down while she was still in the hospital and it has been well worth it in the end. And yes did it Cold Turkey at that. See if you in fact have a goal anything can be possible in life if you really want to do it. |

I eat healthier, changed to whole grains, skim milk, more fruits and vegetables...........for me, and my kids. Cut out most sugars (we sometimes have treats), no pop, no chips, no lunchmeats or hot dogs................
Whew, I changed a lot when it comes to our diet. WON"T let them go to McDonald's anymore, even though my mom sent them money for Christmas and they wanted to go out to eat with it, so we told them since it was their money they could pick whatever they wanted...........and guess what? McDonald's.........so we said, next time McDonald's is out, lol. |
