What I'm saying is, she knew what you do for a living. An EMT is not in as much danger as other fire fighters. I know my uncle was one. So you really aren't in that much danger as if you were always fighting the fires. Be that as it may, if she didn't like the idea, then she shouldn't have started dating you, evidently with the idea of making you change.
