When you make a commitment, do you feel you must be loyal no matter what? That you have no right to change your mind once you have given your word or oath.

Sometimes loyalty can be misguided and thinking about rejecting another can bring feelings of tremendous guilt.

Has your loyalty ever held you back from doing what was best for you?

For me, loyalty is given to someone who has earned that loyalty. Sometimes you can give it, just out of respect, until you get to know them. If they misuse that loyalty, abuse the privilage, then they no longer deserve that loyalty.

I do feel that if Ive made a commitment to someone that I need to be loyal. But I also feel that part of that loyalty is to talk to the person and let them know how ur feeling. If u feel as though u might be changing ur mind that okay, we are human and its what we do. But if uve made a commitment of loyalty, part of that loyalty is to communicate with that person...I hope that made sense lol
