I am not familiar with those. I will be starting to read on some of the American expansion after I get moved.

Nice. I love history books. There's supposedly a great book about the Lewis and Clark expedition but I can't remember what this particular one is called.

There are several on Lewis and Clark. One I have is in a box somewhere. Some of the books on the Spanish expansion are quite interesting too. |

As far as history goes I read some good books about the Vietnam war this past summer.

The economy out here sucks! One job I put in for had over 200 applications!

Yea...it's hard times all around. I don't really know how I make it.

Compared to some of the folks out here I am not bad off. One of the guys below me is working four hours a week at a restruant.

Yea...here in KY the auto industry is ceasing production and laying off thousands. Everyday the news is full of stories about businesses closing and more job losses.
|

We had the Frieghtliner plant here close. And a lot of small companies close. One I subcontracted for went belly up too. Lost seven nice contracts. Heck, I may even start pumping gas here soon.
