I lie in stupid ways because I believe a lot of stuff is bull. Like you have to make ##,### a year to have this credit card, and in a way i don't lie to them, they did say it included everybody in your household, didn't they, well lets include my brother, my cousin, my mother, etc...whomever is living in the house at that time...

People lie, because other people demand to know what they have no right to know.

If you ask me about the details of my date yesterday, I will lie to you. Why?
-I could have said "I won't tell you", but should have known this already before you asked. You will act as if I have done something bad to you.
-I could have given you the truth, but then you'd receive what you shouldn't have.

So, I simply say: "She was okay, we went to a movie and then I drove her to her place.". Now, you are still as uninformed about what really had happened as before you have asked me. I have simply neutralized your question without suffering your rage for something I didn't initiate.

So, if people simply minded their own business, there would be a lot less lies.

I bet, that if we weren't required to fill out the income return, there wouldn't be any untrue return of the sort.

Magic, huh?

I can see that feelings are more important than truth. So, then we all dance around these lies, little, big, black, white, etc, etc, to make sure people feel good. That is until the truth gets discovered.

LOL. Now you can see what happened to our financial market? Little lies here and there in their statements and risk assessments showing great return, great progress. Accumulation of lies can be like a house of cards.
