I never figured that out either and I have a terrible German accent I always enjoyed French or even Italian accents on woman though.

Accents are fun. They make me swoon. Especially Australian, Irish or British.

I think that when people hear accents from other then where they are from... they are intrigued, interested and even mesmerized by the different inflection of tones, syllables. It attracts attention and most often always positive attention. I know I had fallen in love with an Australian accent before...

At this point in life, they don't attract me at all. Hmmm, to think of it, I didn't find it particularly appealing in my twenties either, lol. I like an American! The only one who floats my boat is Simon Cowell!
