Curious...you said Merry Christmas. Does that mean you celebrate? yup, i do. christmas for me is more a cultural holiday that i grew up celebrating as a child rather than a religious holiday that i believe in. christmas is great, even if you don't take the story behind it to be entirely and literally true, its still a time of celebration and familyness etc etc My apologies though, i guess it should have been more polite for me to say "happy holidays" to anyone out there who celebrate other things. |

Thats why I made the shift to Yule. Yule is merely the origional holiday and the observance of the Winter Solstice. Its everything that the Christians stole minus Jesus and Santa.

well what is it were deciding here science vs religion
maybe they coexist does it not say a day is as a second some where in the bible this being the case how long would a day be during the creation and by time man was created what has taken place and how long had it been is it not possible that god must follow laws of nature (after all did not god create it, being god), if this is the case does it not take time to develop various large scale plans just a thought but hey what do i know |

As to me, there is no debate, no need to debate, nothing to broach. I have proof that God exists and Jesus is Lord. If you haven't gotten that gift, so be it. My experience is mine, not yours. Nothing to argue, prove to you, etc. It is what it is and I am blessed. Nothing stubborn about it!!! **ditto** |

If more Christians took that approach, there would be far less arguing. It is the constant attempts at conversion and proselytizing that bug the crap out of many people.
