Hi all!! Hope everyone's ready for the holidays and hope it's a happy and joyous time for all. I have a problem,perhaps question to. I have met this wonderful lady from this site,we ahve been IM'ing each other daily and talking for hours on it.We think the same and feel the same towards each other,and want the same things out of life.She said she lives in poughkeepsie New York,but is currently on a job in Nigeria.She has for some reason had her 1st half of her check sent to me, and was supposed to be here for the holidays and finally meet.Well that has changed for some reason,and she is now telling me that she needs 700 dollars to pay her bills where she is at.I've told her I don't have that kind of money and she keeps asking,now she expects me to sell some of my stuff to help her out.I'm not going to do that.But do you all think she's running a con?Should I just not talk to her anymore?Help me out here,I have developed some pretty strong feelings for her and she says she has to.So I don't know what to do.Any advice would be helpful

Careful! She or he is just a scammer. Take it from someone who knows.

Please e-mail me her user name here I will almost bet she is a scammer I will have the Admin check it out I have in fact caught a few that have e-mailed me but never made the money issue before I found out they were indeed scammers.

Do not post her user name on the forums just e-mail me and I will have it checked into.

This is in fact something that all sites have to deal with but.......this site does not allow scammers to stay once they check them out and through research have found out that they are. So it is very critical that anytime anyone tells you they need money for any reason 99% of the time they are scammers.

And the I love you's and all the common things you have are all just a game. Always be careful with what kind of information you give to others over the Internet.

What a way to make a buck. Thats just sad. It is a scam.

She is fake. She is running a con. She does not care for you. She is running this con on many, many others....
