Sounds like a vacuum hose prob to me... I'd do a vacuum test like that other poster recommended. It could be an easy fix. I'd need my mechanic for that...have no clue how to do something like that. It can be tricky but what's probably happened is that a vacuum line has either come loose, or one has failed due to a crack or cut. The little black rubber vacuum lines are about a half inch thick and run from your vacuum booster, at or near the brake master cylinder and run off towards other pressure servos that control your heat and ac circulation, a;long with various other ingine components. It could be as easy as looking for a loose hose and reconnecting it to a likely looking tube in the general area as the end that's become disconnected or loose. Your vacuum lines are located under the hood and under/in the dash. Sounds like I should hire you to be my new mechanic. I really think it would be an easy fix and if I lived close, I'd be happy to attempt it for you.

I sure know how frustrating it can be. See in my case, I'd be happier and less frustrated if I could just get my whites white and keep my checkbook 100% reconciled all the time. I guess we all have our talents and our foibles.

Convenience? Sure if thats what you are seeking. I'd be ever grateful to anyone who has a brain and can keep my car running and on the road without screwing me over with unneeded repairs in the process.

I'm not so sure I'd enjoy a relationship like my dad's though. Him and my stepmom don't really even know each other, let alone love each other. It seems their whole reason to be together is to just make life easier than it would be on their own. He's quick to fix the car or anything else around the house and she's quick to make sure supper's ready on time and that he remembers his doctor's appointments but the sad reality is that they display absolutely no affection for each other. This is only for the sake of conversation, not that I'm afraid of it happening in any potential relationship I'd have, or you'd have. |

Actually I was only kidding back with you. I do feel that I have a lot to bring to the table, or the garage,whichever the situation calls for. I know, honestly, I am not even sure I'd be ready for a relationship yet. I have been single for the last year by choice. I have alot up in the air between my work and I know my son will be facing a couple surgeries this year and I'll be very focused on his recoveries. I also have some soul searching to do and that wouldn't be fair to bring someone in when I am not 100% stable in my life right now. Sounds like the marriage I had before. All we did was co-exist together. Next time around I want to feel like their lover, their best friend, their partner not and just a roommate. I love to chat with everyone here, and for now, its fun to flirt and fun to enjoy everyone's company.
