What do you know about it and what do you think it means? I gathered that these books where found by archaelogists who deciphered that these writings where written 20 years after Jesus's death. It mentions that Jesus wasn't the Messiah but a sage or a teacher so to say. That he was a normal human being who had a tremendous amount of knowledge on philosophy and other religious practices. He used his knowledge to teach people how to live peacefully amongst each other. What are your thoughts on the Gospil of Thomas and its discoveries of the writer who wrote it at the time? Isnt that pretty close to how the Hebrews felt about him? Im confused? |
