 Do you drop friends if they become too much of a problem to you?

No I dont, but it seems like if I cant do anything for them they drop me like a hot potatoe.

I never drop anybody. They drop me once I fix their problem, and then I don't hear from them until they have another problem.

That used to happen to me but for my New Years 2008 resolution, I decided not to let any negative people in my life and what a difference it has made...

I think the two definative words here are friends and much. My friends are far from perfect, as I myself am, so yes occassionally I find that some just get too be too "much" and have more or less dropped a few over the years. What is key with me is I rarely elevate people to the title of Friend where I feel obligated to do what is expected of genuine friendship which I see as a reciprocal term. |

My friends no, I will always be available if they need me. I won't be their enabler nor their revolving bank. Presently have a friend who has dismissed a mutual friend for crossing boundaries with a male friend. I am not even talking about sex nor flirting. It makes no sense...but eventually I will talk to her when some time has passed and she hopefully will be open for dialog.
