the powers that be, my friend, the powers that be.

not neccessarily just pagan, but neolithic, and modern spiritualism, and it's not neccessarily praying, more thanking, and using the law of attraction.

That depends on who's using the term. There are many different ways that the term is used.

For example, many Christians define the term pagan as follows:

Pagan - a person who follows a non-Christian religion (not a Christian or Muslim or Jew)

As you'll notice here even the Christians recognize that both the Islam and Judaism have originated from the same Mediterranean mythology that Christianity arose from.

All other religions are considered by Christians to be pagan religions.

More technically the term pagan refers to any religion that recognizes that the Spirit resides in all of nature and is truly omniscient.

This is rather strange because even Christianity is supposed to recognize the omniscience of God in nature, but for some reason they have come to balk at this very idea.

When we stand back and look at the world as a whole we can see that all cultures throughout the world have pretty much recognized the omniscience of God in nature with the exception of the Mediterranean mythologies. So the Mediterranean mythologies are the ones that are out of whack with the bulk of humanity.

Christians often argue that Christianity is the single largest religion in the world. But that's only because of the way the statistics are recorded. Christianity is a very large label that applies to a lot of different faiths. They disagree with each other in many ways. The only thread they have in common is that they all think Jesus Christ was a sacrificial lamb of a self-confessed jealous egotistical God who lusts for blood sacrifices.

They call all other religions 'pagans'. However, they take the statistics and break the pagans up into Hindus, Buddhists, Taoists, Wiccans, and so on and so forth. This makes it appear that Christianity is the single largest religion when in fact it is not.

Catholics and Protestants are counted together as both being Christians, yet they disagree vehemently on many issues. This is the very reason that the Protestants exist. The Protestants protested against real Christianity in favor of making up their own version.

Of course they didn't stop with just protesting against Catholicism. They continued on to protest against each other until they fell into a myriad of denominations from Amish to Zions. Their views and values range a wide spectrum of beliefs.

In fact, it's pretty common knowledge that if the whole world were finally converted to Christianity that would just be the beginning of the real Holy Wars. We already see this animosity existing between Protestantism and Catholicism as well as the various denominations.

Bishop Carlton Pearson, a devoted Christian, was labeled as a Heretic for not believing in Hell, for example. Yet there are many Christian demoninations that don't believe in hell. So clearly there are many Christians who view their fellow Christians as heretics.

You don't see this on the religion census surveys.

Catholicism has already accepted evolution as fact of life and they have even left the door open to the existence of Draconians (or at least aliens from outer space). Yet there are many sects of Protestantism that vehemently disagree with these notions, and would much rather worship the Sun and Mood than a Draconian or the Theory of Evolution.

So the two main divisions of Christians are in hostile disagreement with each other.

And, of course, the Protestants protest against each other all the time because that's what they do. They are protestants.

What we have clearly seen is that the Judeo-Christian-Islam mythology has been extremely divisive over the past few millennia causing world much political tension over religious hostilities. All three of these main religions are based on the same self-confessed jealous egotistical God who demands a stance of religious intolerance and has clearly lusted for blood sacrifices many times over.

Protestantism is actually the furthest removed from the original mythology. Clearly Catholicism is much closer to the original mythology, and of course, both Judaism and Islam are even closer yet.

Ironically the Protestants are the most vociferous. But then I suppose that's to be expected from rebels who protest all the time.

Now what was the question again?

Oh yes,... Do pagans worship the Sun and Moon Gods?

That's truly a silly question because the Sun and Moon Gods are actually metaphors for the purpose of spiritual communiqué with the one and only omniscient Great Spirit of Creation.

But I wouldn't expect a Christian to understand this. Christians think God is all Yang and no Yin. As long as they are that naïve there isn't much sense in trying to have a meaningful conversation with them. ohwell

Yes, most Pagans worship a Sun God and a Moon Goddess by one name or another.

Smiless has written that God is a cow, and that the Moohn is made of cheese, and we should worship the Moohn when it is full.

When the Moohn is empty we should worship Cheez Whiz.

Now everyone please turn to hymnal number 666 and sing:

Cheez Whiz love us this we know
For the Moohn God tells us so
Little ones are full of song
Be a geek and sing along

Yes, Cheez Whiz love us
Yes, Cheez Whiz love us
Yes, Cheez Whiz love us
For Kraft Foods tells us so!
