I love hats. They are hard to find. I even got a pattern an made one of my own.

It you look enough, hats can be found. There are online sites. And if you live in the right areas, you can actually find hat shops still.

I don't want to stereotype, but look at all the wonderful hats black women manage to find to wear to church and what not. It's true enough that there here been documentaries done on the topic of church hats.

But I get many many women going gaga over my hat. They ALWAY say the exact same thing. "I love hats. I wish hats would come back."

Um, if every single person who said that would stop waiting and go find themselves hats, then hats WOULD be back!

It's as simple as that.

So if you like hats, run out and find one or two and just start wearing them.

I watch the Kentucky Derby religiously every year

I used to wear a lot of hats. Greek sailor, 40's velvet with stick pins, cowboy, punk, etc. I just outgrew that persona. But, boy, I was hot looking in them and they can really be an attention getter when they look right on a gal.

I wear lots of hats...

baseball caps
cowgirl hats
those little french berets
greek fishermans caps...

especially on a chitty hair day!

I just clip on a phonie pony,(a fake ponytail in case your wondering) and a hat, and go!
