Topic: The Dilemma of Words and Actions | |
---|---|
In my mind there is a dilemma of words and actions. I have heard words can paint a thousand pictures. But then I have also heard that actions speak louder then words. So what happens when words are not enough and actions cannot be seen? Do we use words that paint pictures of actions that cannot be seen? Would that be sufficient enough to make up for the not being able to see the actions first hand? Would words describe the action enough to paint the picture we wish the other to see? How do words become actions that cannot be seen? What happens when the words are not enoughto describe the action? What happens when there are no words sufficient enough? How do you turn actions into words that become actions? Then there is the dilemma of are words and actions even enough to show how I feel? What happens when they are not? DO we just sit in silence and let the silence speak for us? Can silence speak? What would the silence say? Would we perceive the silences as what they are meant to be perceived? Or would we take them for another meaning? Now I am left with the dilemma of do you understand the dilemma of my mind? This dilemma I have between words and actions. This dilemma of wanting to show you and tell you how I feel but not being able to. |

Very nice write.
I've always been told to watch actions because some are very good at words. The key is that they match. Silence, can mean so much, and every person brings their own perceptions into the guessing....feelings expressed leave nothing to chance. |

Each of us can reach back into our past relationships and see ourselves in this piece in some way. Did we hold silent at times when maybe we should have spoke out?
This give a person plenty to think about for those future relationships we may one day find ourselves in. Beautifully written. |
