Because it's terrifying. I don't know exactly why. It's almost as if
that person shows you parts of yourself that you don't want to admit you
have. They see you for who you really are and that can be terrifying if
you don't like what you see.

terrifying is running out of beer at 2:05 in the morning.

Yes, it is because we are all the colours, all the textures, the light
and the shadow.

We sometimes fear the perceived monster we hide inside and wonder if you
will still love us when you see the "all" that we are.

To be open, raw, vulnerable, and exposed is terrifying without
protective walls to hide behind. The reality is that most do not love
well. There is continual tripping over this thing called ego.

It is a rare and wonderful thing to be given the gift of an open and
trusting heart. To have that reciprocated ...and to know that your
heart is safe in the other's hands and that your name is sacred upon
their lips is magical.

I don't think people run from true luv I think people don't know exactly
what they want , so when they find luv they take advantage of it
until it's gone and then that saying comes into play u never know your
good thing until it's gone

at all.

And yet How do we know if it a True Love?

and us (men or women) will come to embrace and enjoy all True Love

i think all of us do it especialy if we got hurt somewhere in the past
they always seem to start out so sweet an then turn bit by bit to evil
seems like if you say to your mate that you dont like something very
badly thats the one thing she will go out of her way to do. an after
want you to stay with her would rather see it up front so i dont get
involved with her an get a heart break . seems like a roller coaster
ride that you hope the track goes all the way around an not missing a
peice of the track.

Love is absolutely NOT terrifying. It's the most wonderful thing in the
world...if you can find it.

So many people are terrified of all the "what ifs" ...but for what? It
is not love we fear, it is the perception and presumption that something
is always going to go wrong, or even that we may not be deemed worthy of
someone else's love.

Then what do we do when we finally get it? We take it for granted.
