As always, there are exceptions to every rule.
But ya know what. Gather together 100 random women and ask them the same kind of question posed here. Out of those 100 women, I would bet that 95 of them would SAY the same kind of things you and Madame are saying ( and I don't doubt either of you ). However, out of those same 95 women, when put in a position where there is a really " good looking " man and an " average dude " in the same room, 80 of them would probably gravitate toward the good looking one. The other 15 would be the ones that aren't assertive enough to push their way through the throng. |

Awwwww Kitt darling you are so right on so many levels...And let me tell you people something. I have been doing the matchmaking game for a year and half....and the reason it became so successful was because of Madamx. All the men loved her...and not based on just solely on her looks....Which by the way rock too...but her personality and charm and intelligence. So I say to all those people because of their nasty hangups and that is what it is. AND YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON MEETING SOME GREAT PEOPLE. Don't weed out people because of your perception of perfection...Because coming from a woman who has seen a lot...It's utter crap there is no one that is perfect.
When I started the Matchmaking thread the whole premise was to match people with others that they may not give the time of day to...and guess what I was right...Because we have had marriages and engagements and many many matches...And if nothing else came from it....friendships that broke the stigma of this no way she/he is not my type crap.... So if you have not already.....come give it a shot..... http://mingle2.com/topic/show/187141 I have all kinds of people in this thread...no discrimination here.....And I promise most people get amazed at the outcome... I love ya darling and thanks for doing this.......people need to really get a clue....I also have a talk show Kitt and you are so going to be coming on and talking about this very thing. The show is called "In Your Face" http://mingle2.com/topic/show/187637 |

But see this is the beauty of on-line.....take those same 100 women and get to know them for them....not just their outward beauty. And this also applies to a man....My favorite men have never been based on their outward good looks...but their intelligence and their sense of humor. I would hope to God that people would get to know other human beings on just that level as human beings. I think you limit yourself to that kind of thinking your missing out on knowing some pretty amazing human beings. |

I have been with women that were average. And I have been with women that would be labeled a little goddess. Some of the average women were biatch. And so were some of the little goddess women. On the other hand, some of the average women were very attractive to me because of personality or other qualities. And yes, even some of those little goddess women were funny, nice and more attractive to me because of their personality and not their looks.
I would have to say that looks really do not matter. You just really never know. |

because, by not seeing past the physical part of a person, you could be missing out on something good. i am not ashamed of anything and really not looking for anything. i read a thread by feralcatlady talking about men who like bigger women. so this is basically my perception on beauty of men or women and the sad truth that there are alot of good people out there who are overlooked because they are not what society thinks they should be to classify as beautiful. Ohhhhh... yum, slurp... licks candy off lips.... holt cow this flirting crap is great.... weeeeeeee.... wow, babay, me and you, let's hook up.... message me and we'll really talk nasty.... oh, woops, I mistook this for another one of feral's flirting threads..... damn.... ok... continue..... |

Well..it would seem that a few have completely missed the spirit of the matchmaking thread. More than once I have emailed someone like I am supposed to when matched with them and gotten the response " Sorry. You aren't my type. " But yet, they've never spoken to me at all. Tell me again that looks don't matter?? |
