Topic: Guy told me to be watching the papers | |
---|---|
So I met this guy from another site. Had two lunches with him. He has completely gone off the deep end for me. Texting about 80 times a day starting at 330 am. This morning when I couldn't take it anymore, I called him and said to stop. No more contact, I was DONE. He tells me don't worry, you won't be hearing from me anymore. Just be watching in the papers.....Click.
I have had eight more texts from him since then. Do I call the cops and report him as suicidal or leave it alone? |

Hey that's central PA for ya,

The cops won't do anything unless he's threatened you in some manner... I'd just keep ignoring him, turn your phone off for awhile so if he calls it'll just go to voicemail. Good luck, that really sucks you're in this position.

unless he's threatened suicide, I wouldn't state he was suicidal (maybe i read your post wrong). I would report it to the police though, for sure. Just in case he does something else....you dont want to be saying 'i wish i had...'
scary.. good luck and be safe I agree the cops wont do anything but they will keep a record of your 'complaint' |

Key words here are you met him on another site.
But he sounds like a freakazoid, right now I would probably turn my phone off or go get a new number. He doesn't know where you live does he? |

Last time I was avoiding someone, I turned my phone off so it went right to voicemail... but my message was "Hi, this is Jill, I'm avoiding someone's call right now so leave me a message ... and if I don't call you back, assume it's you" He finally stopped calling me.

It was on a different site. At our first meeting he kept insisting we had met before. I said I don't think so. It went well. I agreed to another lunch. BIG MISTAKE.. He figured out how we met. We were together in previous lives. Downward spiral from there.
