It means they can't choose; always think there is something better around the corner; or, have fears of getting too close with anyone. Sadly, it is themselves they are unsure of and do not know. Their self esteem is lacking....and they are afraid of getting too close either because they think they'll get lost in the other, be eventually abandoned or rejected, or always see something lacking in another because of extreme perfectionism in themselves. Makes for a miserable existence. No, not everyone, but most. |

I figure if I am sending e-mails and it stops all of a sudden then I know that person must have died, or the house burned down and I will pray for the poor soul move on and hope to see them later. Try not to take too much of the e-mail content personally. When its gets personal it should be taken out of cyberland and into the real world. JMO

One night cyber stand He stroked his keys & clicked his mouse & then he was gone I hate when that happens. It should at least be worth getting undressed for. |

JMO First rule of internet dating: "Its not Real till its REAL". Take your time and get to know someone first - ALL about them - before making any life-altering decisions. Whether that is online or off. Oftentimes, you don't even begin to scratch the surface of "really" knowing someone till you have spent considerable face-to-face time with them for at LEAST 14 months. |

This happens.....alot on both sides of the gender.
There are a lot of people on this and other sites. Most people these days are A.D.D. when it comes to getting to know people. With so many choices, they get interested elsewhere too quickly. Quiet has the answer...... pay attention and really invest some time to get to know people, make friendships, and see what develops from there. JMO |

I also choose for the wrong reasons at times. Fears of loss, abandonment. And, yeah - I've known a few people with "too much candy in the candyshop window to choose" syndrome. |

It aint easy....... |

I very rarely email people just out of the blue, but when I do it's usually to let them know they've impressed me in some way. I'm not expecting anything from it when I cut-up, joke or flirt with someone in an email,or visa-versa...

I think it is that it takes that long to start to gather enough information. Also, people tend to let their guard down and start to be their real selves after the one year mark. Its like they think "this is going to be for the long haul", I can relax, start to show who I really am. |
