I'd have a flat tax...regardless of income...why should you be punished for succeeding? Because 5% of the population own 95% of the wealth.  Yeah

i wouldn't want that responsibility of the world...but if i could be president for a day/week/month than... I'd revamp welfare...i'm sorry if you are married and you are both capable of working...find a job. Even if you have 10 kids...i'm one of ten my mom got by on <20G's a year and never went on welfare. You would also need to pass a urine test to keep your benefits...sorry the government shouldn't be paying you to sit around and do drugs. I'd change the prison system and model everyone of them after tent city in Arizona...they are almost self sustaining...the MILLONS saved i'd redirect elsewhere where we need it...i.e health-care I'm sorry if you are here illegally and not paying taxes you have 6months to get it squared away or bye bye. I'd make our national language English....learn it if you want citizenship...and the BILLIONS that we'd save by not having to print everything in two/three/four different languages i'd redirect to our schools/healthcare/homeless. If you ruled the world... what would be the first few changes you would make and why? think about it for a minute before you post I'd put all the Bad Boy womanizers (and the women that love them) on one large uninhabited South Pacific island then try out some of those cool-a$$ed nukes on that location... ...then I'd make that day "International Nice Guy Day." And I'd probably go surfing... (since I'd be in the South Pacific, there's got to be some good waves out there somewhere, especially after about 10 or 15 forty megaton nuclear warheads go off...) |

Actually.... ... 5% of the U.S. population controls most of the wealth of the world... ... the world population is 6 billion ... the U.S. population is 280 million (280 million divided by 6 billion is 0.046, or 4.6%) ... the U.S. population is only 4.6% of the total world population.... ... so ... the wealth of the entire world is actually controlled by 5% of 4.6% of the world's population... ... "of" in story problems (math) is multiplication... ... 5% x 4.6% = .05 x .046 ... .05 x .046 = .0023 or, .23% of the world's population.... It would be easier just to kill off the .23% of the world's richest population, and take all of their damn money... then I'd be the ruler of the world, and in control of all of the money... I can see why I kicked the a$$es of all the other business students in my "BUS-140 - Intro to Business" class... I would make a very efficient world leader. I would give you all enough rope to debate philosophy and politics, then I would have you killed too... THEN... I would be ruler of the world... I would have ALL the money... and I would win the argument above... all in one fail swoop....
