How many of you have gotten those free trial spams? Only to find out after posting a profile all you could do was wink/flirt and look but not respond. I got tired of it and right now I'm at one. I put in my profile that this site and one other are totally free and to tell their friends. Then I went to an area that's labelled I'm interested. I've been clicking on I'm interested on every one of them. Teach them silly (insert derogatory term here) to waste my time. Feel free to try this yourself.

I tried a pay site for 3 months in early 2006 -- I was amazed by the number of people who contacted me there -- 174 in that time, most of them locals -- but not a single one was anywhere near suitable.

I think it was because anyone could contact a paid member, while the free members were limited to sending flirts or winks or whatever it was, to each other, which really couldn't lead anywhere.

It seems odd to me that a free site should be SO very different in terms of people willing to make contact, though.

Yeah, I joined on 12/7/06 -- I think it took me about 6000 posts before I got noticed. At about 7000, people started complaining about my profile. That's when I knew I had arrived.

There are only two sites that I have met anyone, here and on fish, there is Matchdoctor, but mostly from across the nation and nobody close to where I live...I just delete the offers now.
