Warning: VENT

Nothing infuriates me more than people who say they believe a certain way and then don't follow the teachings of their own faith. I have so much respect for people of any religion who actually follow their religion even if I don't agree with it.

But, people who say they are "Bible believing Christians" and "followers of Christ" who simply disregard the teachings of the New Testament are just plain hypocrites. If you don't follow the teachings of the New Testament, how can you call yourself a Christian?

Funny you should say that. I've met so many hateful "Christians" and religious fanatics. Like I told one fella on here, I'll take one truly sincere <_______> over 100 pseudo-Christians any day. It may not be my religion, but if the teachings are of love and they are devoted, I'm fine with them.

I understand there are people who believe all kinds of different things when it comes to Christianity and what it means to be a Christian. But, if you're going to use what it says in the Bible or what you learned from church to tell me that what I practice is "bad" you better damn well be following all the teachings of New Testament first.

Otherwise you're just picking and choosing what you want to follow based on what you personally like to do or not do.

I'm a witch. I'm a Pagan, sometimes appearing to be Catholic, witch. And, before you judge me as wrong because of what the Bible says or your pastor said, you better take a long, hard look at what you do in your personal life that goes completely against the teachings you preach.

People often dis-associate themselves from what they do for a living, the religion they practice, there wealth they live on, many different things. They then use this, "but that is not me, that is my company or business". One of the most frequent is probably my business is loosing money. They say this while they themselves are drawing a payroll check from that business. Just a clever way of lying. I am who I am. I do not use the twisting of the truth to try and get away from treating others as I want to be treated. I do make mistakes, as do all of us. For that I am truly sorry. When I realize that I have made mistakes, the way I prove to myself and to others, that I am really remorseful, is by not doing them anymore. Hope this helps, Luv ya
