It is annoying, i'll give you that, kitten. These forums are more like chat rooms than forums. In a true forum..there is a topic, and the topic is replied to, in a respectable fashion. Most dating site forums though, do tend to be more of a chat nature. That is part of the community "feel" and i do enjoy that aspect to a point, but when a topic becomes more about someone else...or pages of nonsensical remarks with nothing to do with the topic...then i lose interest. Don't get me wrong, i do not mind a hi, or a hows it going...or a little joke here and there, but really, that can be done with at least with respect to the op. Sure, make a joke, say hi...whatever..but before you close..then add..."as to the topic..." Make it interesting folks...just my .02 |
