Well, what my grandfather did for my dad was wrap all his dirty clothes
around him and made him wear a sign that said "im a dirty pig" and made him walk around town in it. |

dont worry. She will figure it out on her own once she moves out. I
was the biggest slob when I lived at home and I remember when I first moved away (about 10 yrs ago), I couldnt stand the mess. I was use to relying on my mother to clean up after me. once I moved out it was a whole other story. |

The parent has to teach the child about not being a slob.
This isnt something they learn much about in school. Its kinda similiar to finances, communication and relationships. We dont learn how to successful at these things as kids in our school system. |

As long as you keep cleaning it...she will let you. She has trained you.
I agree with Nick that she will get better when she is on her own. She may do a complete flop the other way when she has to entertain in her own home and she starts getting comments about the stench and trash laying around. She will be fine but that doesnt help you. You could just come live with me for a while and let her live in her trash. That may open her eyes! |
