You'd probably see a lot more nasty than hot. yea think about it man dont most of women go to the gynocologist because theres somethin wrong or is there like an annual checkup or somethin Both - something wrong and yearly check-ups. and babies being born...your gyn..is usually your OB also.. Cat, Aren't some just Gyns now because of insurance increases? Illinois is just across the river from me and I think that some of their OB/GYNs are now just Gyns because of insurance increases. You know those malpractice suits. Some came over to St. Louis, too, to stay both. Have you seen this?

Cat, Aren't some just Gyns now because of insurance increases? Illinois is just across the river from me and I think that some of their OB/GYNs are now just Gyns. Some came over to St. Louis, too, to stay both. Have you seen this? i suppose so..it probably saves on the insurance preimums a lot for the doctors.. I just go to a nurse practitioner and have my yearlies done...but when i had my babies... their office was both OB/gyn and the doc seen me for both. just cheaper to go see the np though

I've never seen a nurse practitioner. really?? here even my child's doctor's office has a np and she can write some scripts even...and at work all the doctors practices tseem to have Np's that follow their care while their in the hospital...just to take some burden offa the doctors.. for normal stuff lol... stool softners, nausea meds, to order their daily meds while their in the hospitals...the doctors outsource a lota their wrok onto NP's or pharmacy techs...mostly np's. they hire one for their practice.

Nope. I haven't seen them at any of my doctor's offices or my child's. I don't think my parents have either. I'll ask them. It sounds all good though. lol, they use a lot in the er also..np's or physician's assitants..prescription writing abilities vary on your type of degree though. i go to planned parenthood now though...totally run by a NP.
