It has only been about 4.5 years since I got my undergraduate degree, so it shouldn't be too difficult to go back. I'm thinking about the Masters of Engineering in Project Management program at UMD. I can even take everything online.

Yeah, I've been trying to figure out for a while what I wanted to do and this sounds good right now.

and there will always be a need for Project Managers

I couldn't do that myself. Too many details and deadlines to keep up with. But I would be happy in the design work

I have found that the older (I prefer the term "more mature") I get, the better I do in school. I am actually glad that I waited to finish my M.S. since I don't think I would have given it the importance in my life that it deserved. Eduction transfers directly to career, prosperity, and security. A younger me would have had trouble seeing past the inconvenience.

I want to get more into project management but I need more education and experience to do it.

I did field engineering for two years, and research and development for tweleve. I worked with enough engineers to last a lifetime. LOL. Props to you for wanting to do it. I am glad to not be in the field anymore. It is interesting though, and is a good career.

Sounds impressive. I am just about finishing up my master's degree in social work. It will really open up a lot of doors for me. Best of luck in whatever you decide.flowerforyou

I have a lot to think about, still. I just know that I really should consider going back to school soon.
