as is your right science and evidence is god's way of testing faith... and hell is uncomfy i hear I saw this quote on bash.org: <@amz> the christian hell is also pretty cold, compared to its heaven <@amz> it has liquid sulfur in it, so it can't be over 400 celsius... on the other hand, the bible describes the sun in heaven shining like 7 suns, each 7 times as bright <@amz> which gives an estimate of 2000-3000 celsius Revelation 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof. Revelation 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. According to Revelation, there is no sun in heaven. but.. but... what about those of us that like night?

I know a lot of scientists. Use to work in a research lab all the scientists I know are moderately to very religious. They find no contradiction between science and religion. Neither do I

one wonders how they feel about creationism being taught as science in schools. and the idea that evolution is not proven.

I have no problem with teaching evolution AND creationism as competing and maybe complementary thoeries. Teach evolution as a theory and say "and some people believe..." for creationism If you're gonna teach kids, teach em everything

when you say "some people believe", that isn't science anymore. that's social studies, sociology or religious education... in my humble opinion. And why not, take up that time in science class going through every religious notion of creation. Hindu, Muslim, Pastafarian, Native American etc etc. That would only be fair. Until eventually, significant amount of time in science class is taken up with religious belief which is not science. anyhoo thanks for your contribution

thhhhhhhhhhhhhhppppppppppptttttt haha can't spell that maybe if you were covering the subject of creation it would be appropriate to cover what other cultures believe I think the aboriginal concept of dreamtime might be included there

indeed, all of 'em are great, in a country where religious diversity is encouraged. in social studies class.
