house poor,cant afford home. not behind in payments yet,but want to walk away. found place cheaper, as renter (my choice). can't get what home is worth to even break even,because of type of loan. need to make change due to illness, and force early retirement. need to know best options, anyone have any ideas, advice or direction? thanks.

Is your home big enough to take in a renter to help with the bills. There are allot of people that are doing that around me. You could look in the want ads, I see people looking for affordable rooms to rent.

I hope in the first six months of the next administration some type of refi will be available for people in your fix. Wish you the best, try to hold out or a few months... I wish you luck, too many people are caught in the middle...
