When I was on another site, a man older then me gave me a lot of grief because I wouldn't see him because of his age. He said that I was no spring chicken. Yep..they resort to insults and tryin to make you feel like you're the one with the problem. Just proves with age does not necessarily come maturity. I was nice about it like you were. Yes, he tried to make me feel like the one with the problem. Oh, yeah, that's a sign of a future good relationship. I've had the reverse happen on here with someone almost 30 years younger then me. Yeppers, rudeness knows no age limited.

Some folks like to say that age doesn't matter....unless you're a cheese. The fact is, it DOES matter. I would never consider dating most young ladies in their 20's, simply because their world and mine are completely different worlds, and we would most likely never be able to relate to one another. She would probably like to go out to bars and nightclubs dancing. I'm past that, and I don't dance anyway, nor am I a drinker. She would most likely be into that rap/hip-hop/dance stuff. I hate that sh!t. I like to go camping, fishing, etc. Most young ladies hate getting dirt under their fingernails. These are just examples, but it shows how it most likely would never work out.

They're not dead for crying out loud. Last hook-up? I don't think so. I'm 49 and I date. Btw, my Grandfather married his 3rd wife in his 60's.

I just got a really nice initial mail from a guy who actually took the time to read my profile and wrote a thoughtful and coherent note, the problem, he is 79. I wrote him a kind and respectful reponse, thanked him for actually reading my profile and for his kind e-mail, but thought our age difference was too great. He writes me a snotty note back saying it's too bad I have limitations and I obviously have a hang-up about age, telling me I would do well to look beyond age. I am the one on here preachin' think beyond your limitations, think outside the box! The only hang-up I have is dating someone who's old enough to be my father. I know how you feel. I get emails from men who are 20-30 years older than me and when I tell them politely that I'd rather date someone a bit closer to my age, they get angry!

I dont care to....but thanks. its just my opinion...but im not chasin anyone after 50. if you are looking why not.get to know them....kinda closed minded.

Well ya see Winx, it is "dead" after fifty, and it just may be a last chance hook-up. (remember a few weeks ago about women not liking sex after age 50, remember......)
