Of course I thought of more...
Someone/something following me. Seizures. The phone. Someone knocking at the door when I'm not expecting it (and sometimes even if I am). Being wrong. Aneurysms. Wasps/bees/yellow jackets/anything that resembles them. Losing my mind. Cars approaching from the right. |

What if they knock? or you're wrong for not checking, or they pulled up from the right with a buzzing sound? Losing your mind? You're on your mind there! |

Snakes Needles Not having enough food to eat Dying a slow painful death like my father. Going blind I used to be afraid of going blind, but I'm not anymore. I'm fairly certain I'd manage well blind. I have some mild synaesthesia - if I touch something, I can 'see' it (not always the proper color, but that's only trivial). I also have taken walks without my glasses (without them I'm functionally blind, and have been since 3rd grade) and it's not that bad. Most people that are legally blind aren't fully blind. |

What if they knock? or you're wrong for not checking, or they pulled up from the right with a buzzing sound? Losing your mind? You're on your mind there! If someone knocks, I generally ignore it unless I'm expecting someone. I do have a peep hole that I use, and my dog comes to the door with me (not that he'd be much protection, but maybe he'd look intimidating lol). Cars approaching from the right is only true if I'm driving...mild PTSD from a crash a little over a year ago. Buzzing sounds freak me out. I hate the cycle alarm on the washer at work. can't stand it. Have you ever seen the movie "Mozart and the Whale"? If you have, the scene where the girl hears the clanging metal...I'm not quite that bad, but on a bad day it feels like that. I'm only afraid of being wrong if it's something factual...like when doc asks "What do you see?" on a radiograph...I don't want to be wrong there. Dementia runs in the family... And re-reading I get the feeling it's a joke, but hey - I already typed the response, I may as well just post it! |
