I have two. The year I got a Schwinn bicycle for Christmas. It was alreay put together and sitting by the tree on Christmas morning. Well ya know I just HAD to sit on it! Me and the bike toppled over into the coffee table and broke it!
![]() The second,my twin sister and I got a pair of red leotards (tights) for Christmas AND a sled! My dad took us out riding on the sled in our little Christmas dresses and leotards. I fell off the the sled halfway down the hill, what fun ![]() ![]() |

I remember when I was quite young (maybe 5 years old), I got a Tinkertoy carpenter set for a present. You know, the plastic oversized hammer, screwdrivers, etc. I loved that thing!
Little did I realize at that time how it would shape my future life and career. |

I remember when I was seven, and I had told my Mom that I wanted Santa to wrap my gifts for me that year. I felt it would be more like getting a present, ya know. I mean, you get all the other gifts wrapped up, so I was certain wouldn't mind doing that for me. My Mom said she would tell him and all was well.
Until Christmas morning...and I walk into the living room and their are no gifts staring me in the face. I got upset and almost cried cause I thought Santa had forgotten me. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I have so many wonderful memories of Christmas past...from childhood and from when my children were growing up! I think overall, the favorite memory of all is just the family getting together and everyone talking at the same time, hearing the laughter, hearing the greetings as people showed up at the house...then there was always the "kids" table!! My most precious memory though, was of Christmas of 2006 as it was the year my son came home from Colorado for Christmas. He was a snowboarder so he generally worked over the busy season. He had not been home for 8 years over the holiday season...that Christmas will always, without a doubt, be the most precious memory of all...he is with us in spirit now for Christmas. I think one of the funniest Christmas memories, although, at the time it was not even funny...I have 3 brothers and one year two of them talked me into looking for the Christmas presents...not a good idea. I found them and we looked at all of them...and then Mom took them all back to the store. We laugh about it now...and we always seem to talk about it when we get together too! I mostly cannot remember too many gifts, yet, the family times are clear in my mind... Merry Christmas to each and every person who accepts it! |

Back when toys were designed to make you use your imagination and perhaps, provide you with the tools for a bright future! ![]() |

That's something I've never done, but I always thought would be a fun thing to do.
