I had an original Luke Skywalker and Princess Leah doll. Oh, and any of the Barbies with the REALLY long hair. We got together with the boys and their GI Joe paraphenalia and played Space Wars, Jungle Exploration, Pirates. When my sister had daughters, it was a challenge, they wanted to play Barbies and I didn't know how to play house or school. |

I loved my Barbies.
My mom made us dress up clothes....bridal gowns, jewelry, lots of stuff. We had this record called "Funny Bones". We loved to sing along to that record. There was an old lady who swallowed a cow. I don't know how she swallowed a cow! She swallowed the cow to catch the goat... She swallowed the goat to catch the dog... She swallowed the dog to catch the cat... She swallowed the cat to catch the bird ... She swallowed the bird to catch the spider That wriggled and jiggled and wiggled inside her. She swallowed the spider to catch the fly. But I dunno why she swallowed that fly Perhaps she'll die. There was an old lady who swallowed a horse - She's dead, of course. |
