I am pulling a 12 hour tomorrow. I also will be on here as much as possible helping to terrorize everyone. I will also start on the Christmas Card exchange list getting them ready to mail... So I wonder how many will be here. |

How do you guys get so lucky as not to have plans???
I never get to avoid my family for a holiday. The only ones I got to miss was the ones I had to work. Even then, I had to at least call. 
Man, I'd love to be able to just make a turkey casserole, flip on the games, and fall asleep on the couch. However, the way I think it works now that I'm older, in order to be able to just stay home for a holiday, I think you have to have been married at least once. You see, that way you have your "family" and can get the hell away from your own!!! 
Ahh yes, the holidays, that means family time. It's kind of like doing time, just without the bars and with less interesting conversation.

My family is coming over, it will be like a "National Lampoon Vacation", so after dinner I will be on here

C'mon y'all......pile up in a car and get on over to Ohio. The more the merrier! Just be advised, you might have to sing Karaoke. 100 miles or so karaoke hmhmhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmm how many songs ya got |

No plans for Thanksgiving? I'm not doing anything but hanging out on mingle tomorrow. I think there is a great chance I won't be going to our thanksgiving.. the cold I had came back in force this morning & I can't be around all the wee kids if I have germs. Sad thing is I never get to see them so

Simple my boys are about a 1,000 miles north and my girls are 1200 miles south. I am on an island with out family here. When I lived on the mainland before my parents retired well that was a different story.. With 5 living siblings,their mates and their kids, my kids and their mates and their kids...Well you know why the bottle of wine was opened as soon as I got home.... Truthfully I do miss it sometimes but I don't think I would want to do it every year. |
