I have several threads I post on, others depends on host and topic. Will try to welcome newbies, but must admit there are some people whose threads I block. you block threads? why?? just because I'd rather not participate in certain forums |

I'll respond to anyone who is respectful...too bad you can't block the trouble-makers & trolls from your threads...but then that starts the whole "I'm just gonna let my friends play in here & block the ones who disagree with me" mess...so, what can you do but try to ignore it?

Do you pick and choose who you respond to? Not really. Some people, by virtue of their histories and intelligence, are more likely to offer something worth responding to, though. I will say there are some who are almost certain to get responses from me. Do you try to acknowledge everyone? Provided they said something worth acknowledging, yes. This determination can be a little bit arbitrary at times, admittedly. Do you post and let responses building up and then come back to post? Not usually -- maybe if something else comes up, I might be gone for awhile and check on it when I get back. |

You cant reply to ALL of them, if its a thread which is doing well.
I try to reposnd to most while the thread is getting off the ground and then after that i might not be quite so proactive. I mostly will respond to just the posts that inspire a reply. So if anyone thinks i am ignoring them, its most likely that their posts are just boring! |
