Topeka, Junction, these are decent sized towns. I bet you've got a movie theater, mini golf, a pizza place. I live in a town that doesn't have a grocery store or gas station. We do have a bank and elevator, not exactly sure why there's still a bank though.

Peeps, I don't even have a bowling alley. My golf course is just an area of my lawn I keep mowed a little shorter. I don't have a coffee house, a 24 hour diner, there aren't enough people here to go to the 24 hour laundry and goof on people.

Sure, I could drive to a real town, go to a club, but do you know where I'd go? Topeka.

Actually, now that I think about it, that's wrong, I'd go to Lawerence.

Ya know.. KC metro has some poppin clubs... LOL

I'm getting too old to run around Westport. The last time I was there I thought that there was a High School "Field Trip" in the bars.

Besides, I go to coffee houses, not bars. And KC doesn't have a descent one that I know of, but if one of you guys do I'm always looking for a good coffee house. Does anyone know of one that is an "after hours" coffee house. One that stays open for the after bar crowd?


Oh and I noticed that a total of six individuals posted here... I'm thinking that's all of Kansas heard from!!!

I love to travel around Kansas and fish but now its to cold. I think I'm gonna have to take up hunting. Man come on people we can come up with something to do out here in Kansas!!!!!

I'll post in here, but I don't know of ANY coffee houses, let alone a good one. I mostly interact with the world from my computer and let the world outside be Kansas if it wants to.

You have to be kidding me! Ok, granted - I don't get out too much in Topeka because I'm usually out of town, but....

Bullfrogs Live : Huntoon and Gage. Friday and Saturday night - $5 live comedy. Nothing better than laughter! Or just go out and watch the games on the weekend.

All in all - it's just what you make of it. Granted - it's not as fun going out alone, but sometimes you just have to go out on a limb and make friends where ya go!

Come to Wichita - it's dead after 10pm. Midnight at the latest. Even Starbuck's closes at 10pm. Hell, the freaking river (Keeper plaza) closes at midnight. Who ever heard of the river closing at night? o0

The Keeper closes at midnight! Geesh, I had no clue. I drive by it on my way home from work and love to see the fire going. One of these nights, I will stop and see it up close.
