Well, I got my pictures on cd at walmart...I installed it and everything, but my pics are not on the computer. Did I miss a step or did something go wrong?

I've never messed with a cd like that. Aren't they just files on the cd? You should be able to copy and paste them over, right?

Did you go to "my computer" and open the cd drive?

They may be in a folder and you just can't find them. To find pictures on your computer do a search for them by going to the search function.

You don't know the name of the files but the extention is probably .jpg

So type a star * then the extention: .jpg

*.jpg

Then search.

The search will pull up all of your .jpg photo files and list them. If you click on them once, you may see a preview of them to the left, or they might open. It is better to see the preview.

If you have millions of pictures on your computer this could be a huge search job.

A great program to view pictures on your computer is a free program called Picasa.

I have had problems with Wal-Mart cd's before, and had to use another computer to burn them to a cd to view them on my computer.
