Have you ever deactivated,if so what was your reason if not what would cause you to deactivate? i have but was an issue that i will not discuss here but i have had a few say they deactivate because they get to much mail and that they do not want to sort through it all thus they deactivate when not on site |

I do deactivate sometimes for a week or so.
They are the times when I feel things make me angry and I have to step back and think about my own behavior. |

I've deactivated when in a committed dating relationship with someone because at that point, I wasn't looking for anyone else anymore. When we broke up, I re-activated. It's all good. It was less to explain to people who would possibly email me when I was in a relationship and then I could re-activate when I was ready to deal with dating again.

Thinking about de-activating right now.
After 1,000+ posts in threads I have still not found anyone I am interested in... and when I dom I write them, they might write back once, then fall off the planet and disappear or something. I think 90% of the people here are just here to play and entertain themselves, and are not sincere about meeting anyone ever Would like to find a non-booze... non-religious meeting place where folks come just to sit and talk to each other... like a social club minus booze or religion... and not the grocery store... LOL... hard to be romantic fussing about the price of lettucs and canned vegetables... I never got that... |

I've deactivated a few times, for different reasons. I come back because I like the forums and talking to friends I've made.

I have yet to deactivate.
If/when I do, my friends will know why because I will tell them before I do it. |
