You all have big hearts. Working on an individual basis even just one
person at a time has a dramatic affect. In the early years of AIDS this was all that could be done one person, one volunteer at a time. If you don't think that statistics played a role in changing that, then let me remind you that it was the CHANGING of the statistics that set in motion anything being done as far as government resources, research and insurance. What changed in these statistics? The disease had migrated to the straight community. It was there all along, it was just in other countries and we were not made aware of this. Statistics will always be with us, it's up to us, one person at a time, to review them and respond to the appropriate sources, your politicians, big business, community awareness. I fear, that to ignore statistics would be to loose the chance to make great changes. |

I don't think we should ignore them.
I do think people have become lazy, and complacent. And, yes big money, and politics built in is never a good thing. All that contibution goes to the middle folks and profit seekers. And, those above? YES! ![]() ![]() |

I try to ignore media not the stats.... The media starts panic and
misform , @ times That is my concern. |
