That's because we are looking for a serious man who knows how to use his spell-check correctly. You would think so, but it turns out not to be that way at all....! see I just want it all - I want a nice guy/with bad boy qualities and experiences but then again it's Wednesday (humpday) want him to spell properly, be eloquent, handsome, strong, romantic, a protector, a mr fix it,etc., hell told ya I want it all - |

and you should think about some new profile pictures. with clothes on. That main pic is not a real complimentary picture of you... It kinda makes you look like Al Bundy Lol, yeah if you are going to take your clothes off for the world to see, better tone it up and suck it in.. P.S. why are these men taking their clothes off? Some need to keep em on! |

His attitude is a little bit disconcerting. Say he was to buy you a drink in a bar and you refused his advances? Would he follow you out to the parking lot to do something weird?
No one should feel obligated to reply to ANY private message they receive and that applies to both males and females. Period. |

Amen to that!! I laugh everytime i see someone moaning about getting no replies! Imo, and i have been online for a good few yrs now, trying to meet new ppl in pm doesnt work in most cases. Its the forums that generate the interest cos ppl can actually learn about u over time, and u can make friends as well as find a potential love interest. Its all in the approach.... **edit, ok, so i just read more of the thread, and i agree with most of the replies!! I havent even checked out the guys profile, but he sure as hell appears to be a real jack ass!! |

want him to spell properly,
Probably too much to ask for, male OR female, especially in today's day and age. |

Probably too much to ask for, male OR female, especially in today's day and age. It is not too much to ask. If someone can not spell or use proper grammar, then I do not feel the need to respond to them. It is a reflection of their overall intelligence and an indication that I will not find them a compatible mate. |

If you're going to use the internet for dating and meeting people you should have basic writing skills. Doesn't have to be perfect and we all make mistakes. But, basically know how to spell simpler words and put them in an order that is reasonably understandable.

why do these women advertize they are looking for a relationship, you try to interduce yourself, they dont even return your msgs, i guess they are looking for a sugardaddy this is total bs! This is sooo funny... First of all, I recall a message I received from you, (first message, we'd never even talked before) and it was a pretty vulgar message. Not exactly the kind of guy im looking for. Secondly, I think maybe before you message these women that you're talking about, you should read their profiles. Speaking from a recent experience in a conversation with you, my profile says im looking for friendship, and that I found someone already. You kept persisting that I should give you a chance anyway. And wouldn't back off. Thirdly, I doubt many women come online looking for a sugar daddy. We just want someone who is kind, and classy, and doesnt mention "ramming a hard **** in their ass" |

um its not just the women. men dont respond either. now i know im not completely dog ugly so i dont see the reason why they dont. I respond to everybody who writes. But then again, I guess I'm not a typical guy -- my profile has more than seven words. |

If you only knew how many times I've been jumped on because of being a stickler for spelling/grammar/punctuation.... I can understand the occasional typo. Everybody's human (well, MOSTLY everybody), everybody is allowed a little latitude for mistakes. I get that. What I have a problem with is grown people who have no concept of simple 2nd grade English. There/their/they're, your/you're/yore, through/threw, to/too/two, etc., ad infinitum. Even if a person is deliberately going to misspell something, the least they could do is misspell it correctly (ya follow?). |
