I am going through the same thing right now. And I know he had plans all weekend, but damn it upsets me that I haven't heard from him. He didn't promise that he would call. What bothers me even more is how upset I am by it. How do you start a relationship with someone with no expectations? This freakin sucks. I hear ya sister! ![]() |

If the person in question doesn't call, don't sweat it. In fact, show your not sweating it by NOT calling the boob back!
Call it "ironic justice" or something- if you aren't gonna get a call-back, then don't call them back. And when they DO eventually call you back, ask who they are and how they got your phone number. |

Since there was a specific time frame to call, it was rude to leave you hanging without contacting you to say 'hey, not gonna make it... can we try tomorrow?'
Obviously something can come up, but it only takes a second to call or email. Excepting something major that would excuse it, what he did was inconsiderate at best. |

I've learned never to call a person twice in a row without them calling you... just sayin And then you give another reason. Noted. ![]() I wasn't alluding to our scuffle. I was just giving you a reason for why he may have not called, but now that he did call, you can solve your question with a correct answer by asking him. I just wanted to participate in the thread. ![]() As for me, my strongest reason for not calling(or "weakest" relative to eyes of anyone but me) was monetary reasons like you noted. It's embarrassing but I was like ![]() I didn't email because I wanted to wait until I had enough time to sit down and write a long, well written email for you. I never got that chance because you kept divorcing me. It would be weird to send you a happy toned email when I'm in hater mode. |

I was always joking with you. and I don't "get a lot of guys" but I do like this guy quite a bit. he sent the sweetest email apologizing for not calling sooner and we talked for a couple hours last night and that makes me soooo happy! (was beginning to feel like a leper!) truce? |

(was beginning to feel like a leper!) truce? Glad he called you!! Men just get in "duh" mode sometimes. Or worse yet, they think they have to use game play and make us wait for it. Ick! It's nice when people of either gender are just considerate of the others feelings and schedule and take the time to make a quick phone call. I hope it works out for you daydreamer! |
