How could I have been so blind
And not notice your deceitful mind With wrinkles on the morning covers The toilet seat up when I leave it down, just for your consideration I bathe you in rose leafs and Victoria Secret also for me to see But in which I haven't got the chance I sweat from nine to five to gain your acceptance And all I ask in return is respect I never ask for a hot plate or a cold from the fridge to be served at six. I buy you lilies and listen to you speak of you in white I never question you words of a night out with the girls Even when Old Spice evaporates from my pillow and Cool Water is my brand, I never question your apparent lies I just turn the other cheek hoping its a phase Tell me why you made me blind. |

Love is blind, or so it is said by many. Intesting poem, reminds me of someone I refuse to think about tonight. Great post. Bye for now.

Powerful write (((PDA)))
It takes me back to another time ... a time when I made excuses for his behaviour ... not wanting to see perhaps ... so I blinded myself ... I especially like this line ... Even when Old Spice evaporates from my pillow
and Cool Water is my brand |
