Moonlight Lover Part 1
In the early light of Dawn, When the mist still holds the ground. I rise, I rise to watch her walk beneath the trees deep emerald green. So lonely she is with sorrow well weighed; Heart is shameless yet lamenting some pain. How I yearn to hold her, To comfort her weary soul. Yet she is unwilling to be consoled, And I as I reach for her hands, She passes back into the mist. She fades away with the setting moon, With sorrow still heavy in her chest. |
