Greed! War!, Make it stop!
I cried yesterday, but no not for me, for them our freedom the dying the death, I pray, I sit silently and die, inside I cry, can it stop the fight, the war, the loved ones please let it end my heart stands still for them, I care. The blood rises high bodies, blown to bits arms, limbs get torn young people our newborns gone in memory they live on, but it's not enough, to keep us together we miss, never to get back they know they may never come back yet they go, to fight, to win weapons loaded, they blast and blast, so many hard, scary and long mindsets change never the same innocence gone, forgotten in the blood shed dawn patterns, of black and white explosion ring through the night crying, screaming once intwined wish, they never parted the ships roll off they jump to the shore unfamiliar grounds they roar hoping the hits miss but there buddies are blown out in bliss the laughter they shared before they barely got there gone, but not forgotten I care! Make it stop, wondering why brotherhood, is it really here greed, not fair everyone's a hare running around it's not paint ball this is for real I cried today but not for me for them the poppy field of dreams I'm gonna wear mine all year long, in my heart, in my head for our children, who fight for this freedom to live, love, feel, touch, smell, taste walk, and talk I don't take for granted it's real and breathing the nightmare is out there can we make it stop, greed! by Noden |

Pauses stunned silenced by grief's cry.
Hands descend on shoulders stiff with tension. Thumbs and fingers kneading knotted muscles as tears try to answer what words cannot.......... |

Well let me say thank you, but I take no credit for death, it pains my heart,
if anything I want to tell the way my heart felt... |

Death is not the antagonist, here..........the cause is.

no, think back - this started long before freedom was threatened. All wars and oppressions start from a greed of some kind. Oh hell, Noden, damn good write no matter what prompted it!
