During college we amped up on coffee, sugar, dexidrine (over the counter speed). Just about anything we could get our hands on to keep us alert. To study. To party longer (socialize). To work longer. Well, I find the evolution is this:.... it is Ritalin or Concerta stolen/borrowed from friends overdiagnosed and flat out misdiagnosed with ADD...
That starts around 10 or 11. And it moves to cocaine and that escalates to meth. College, in no way enters the arena. This kid I saw today, he was 25. He was a dealer, since '04. Feel old?
